Quinhagak is in the middle of the neighboring villages of Goodnews Bay & Platinum, which is towards the south and Eek at the north side. Families here are subsistence wise active. Our river,the Qanirtuuq has a bountiful supply of fish that provides all kinds of fish throughout the year. We have some fish racks along the shore in some areas of the river and some fish camps up towards the mountains.
