SEASON: June - July
Every summer CVS processes Halibut at various plants in our CVRF Region. Employees begin gearing up the plants for the season in early May. The halibut season begins soon after the breakup of ice from each of these communities, usually around the end of May.
CVS also has a tendering operation South of Nunivak Island (referred to as the South Nunivak Tender).
